The Radar Academy is a free, hands-on way to learn Stripe Radar's rules engine — the expression language, the transaction attributes, and the judgment calls behind Allow, Block, Review, and 3D Secure actions. Everything here runs in your browser; nothing connects to your Stripe account. The XP, ranks, and badges track one thing: whether you can read a fraud pattern and write the rule that stops it without blocking good customers.

There are three training modes. The rule generator builds copy-paste rule syntax for twenty real fraud patterns — card-testing velocity, BIN-to-IP mismatch, repeat-dispute cards — and explains each choice. The Fraud Detective campaign presents story-mode cases where you diagnose the pattern before writing the rule. The attribute drill is flashcard speed training on Radar's attribute reference, because writing rules fast starts with knowing what signals exist.

The patterns trained here come from operating a real subscription app through a chargeback crisis — the same rules covered in the Stripe Radar rules guide. If your ratio is already near the network monitoring thresholds, skip the games and start with the guide.
